Tequila Sunrise: Review

Flawed for sure, but a heck of a lot of fun. Screenwriter Robert Towne (Chinatown, Shampoo) directed this glamorously trashy tale of two childhood friends who wind up on opposite sides of the law and the girl who gets caught between them. Kurt Russell's the cop, Mel Gibson is the wealthy cocaine dealer and a radiant Michelle Pfeiffer is the girl.
