The Temptress: Review

Doctor Bell, obsessed with finding a polio cure, is persuaded by patient Maude to murder her husband in return for half his fortune. The plot is foiled, though, when the money all goes to Maude's son, Stannard, who loves Bell's nurse, Quentin. Bell sets out to kill Stannard, but Quentin prevents it and Bell kills himself instead. Depressing but interesting crime story. leave a comment
