Tell It To A Star

Terry is cast as a cigarette girl with singing aspirations who tries to get bandleader Livingston to lend an ear. She doesn't have a puff of success until her uncle Mowbray shows up. He pretends to be a colonel and secures a solo for his niece. Their fraud is found out, but by then it's too late; Livingston's already fallen for her.
