A melange of Whoopi Goldberg monologues masquerading as a feature film. Other than the opening shots and a brief scene in a cramped, dingy hallway, the entire film takes place in the eccentrically appointed apartment of struggling actress Vashti Blue (Goldberg), who spends the bulk of her time on the telephone.
