This low-budget WW II story, set in the Philippines, follows the exploits of American Army officers Barry Mann (John Garwood) and Jack Lowell (William Smith), who find themselves trapped behind enemy lines. Caught by the Japanese, the Americans surrender, only to be machine-gunned by a
vicious Japanese officer. Mann is shot in the leg, but, despite his injury, vows vengeance and joins forces with a Filipino guerrilla unit determined to defeat the invaders. A substandard actioner, A TASTE OF HELL went straight to home video in the US.
