Olympic decathlon champion Morris gave the audience what they wanted in 1938--another "Tarzan" movie. It had been two years since the last Weissmuller entry and would be still another year before the next. Unfortunately Fox couldn't wait either and cast Morris in the role. His film career was, thankfully, shortlived. In this one he saves Holm from the evil grip of ruler Gordon, who keeps the girl all to himself in his hidden African fortress. leave a comment
