The script department was hurting when they hit upon this idea--Joyce is an aviatrix who crash-lands in the jungle and discovers a fountain of youth. She lives there for 20 years, never aging, before Barker rescues her and returns her to civilization. This was Barker's first appearance as Tarzan and Joyce's last as Jane. It was the last "Tarzan" adventure filmed while Burroughs was alive and he was reportedly on the set while it was being made. leave a comment
