No money was spent to make this one, which is apparent by the opening scene. Lupton goes to the California backwoods to do some hunting but gets into trouble with local tough Kelly. He boards with Talbott and her aunt, Felton. Wynn takes a shine to the newcomer, but Lupton turns down her
advances, which throws her into a jealous rage. In a fit, she kills her husband, but the blame is laid on the newcomer. First he fights with his fists, then proceeds to guns until the truth comes out and he and Talbott can set up shop for ever and ever.
