Two early screen stars--Pickford and Fairbanks--pose and preen so much in this Shakespeare classic that it becomes satire, ripe with physical comedy and plenty of pratfalls by the pair. Pickford falls in the mud with pigs, in her bridal gown, and the first time she meets Fairbanks the pair trade insults before tumbling down the stairs. Strictly played for laughs.
