Talk About A Lady

A tired plot somewhat helped by Falkenburg's singing. She's a naive, plain ol' country girl who's been left a few million dollars along with a popular nightclub. She has to fight off the catty remarks and bitterness of Marshall, a high society gal who thinks all the goodies should have gone to her. While the production sails along fairly well, the plot is too old to generate any real excitement. Songs include: "You Gotta Do Watcha Gotta Do," "I Never Had a Dream Come True," "Avocado" (Allan Roberts, Doris Fisher), and "A Mist is over the Moon" (Ben Oakland, Oscar Hammerstein II).
