Sydney gives new meaning to the role of the villain with his ruthless and conniving performance in this film. It is his character that redeems the film in the beginning and makes it move, but when he's done in, the film slips into neutral and just coasts the rest of the way. Ayrton has built up a profitable shipping firm that his brother, who might not actually be his brother, wants. Sydney gets unexpected help from Cortez, who is involved with the owner's daughter. Seems that Cortez can impersonate people and does so to help Sydney gain information. To save the firm's name, Ayrton kills himself. To make sure Cortez doesn't talk, Sydney tries to kill him, but Cortez escapes. Cortez once again uses his gift of mimicry to bring Sydney to justice and win back the heart of his love. leave a comment
