A shady stranger moves next door to Murphy and Davis, a happy couple who are citrus fruit growers. Their boy wants a dog in the worst way and finally gets one. A little while later, the dog is found poisoned to death, and everything points to the new man in town as the villain. The matter
is ultimately cleared up with a thorougly unbelievable explanation. This was director David Bradley's first feature film. He's better known for creating that cult classic THEY SAVED HITLER'S BRAIN.
