TALES OF MANHATTAN follows the adventures of a fancy tail coat as it goes from riches to rags. A famous actor (Charles Boyer) initially buys the coat, only to be told the garment carries a curse. Later, it winds up with a man (Cesar Romero) whose fiancee (Ginger Rogers) finds a love letter in one of the pockets.
