Energetic horror from the creators of the popular HBO series "Tales From the Crypt." Loosely based on the notorious EC gore comics of the 1950s, DEMON KNIGHT is set in a desert motel; a mysterious guest (William Sadler) is the guardian of a key that keeps the forces of evil at bay. Needless to say, the key gets swiped (by Billy Zane, clearly having the time of his life), and the armies of darkness check in. Good-humored gore, ably directed by Ernest Dickerson (JUICE), formerly Spike Lee's cinematographer. leave a comment
