Ten-year-old Orville Ryan (Grant Navin) is a Sydney youngster with a passion for old airplanes. The neighborhood gang won't let him join in when they fly their model airplanes, so he hangs around with cantankerous old Harry (Gordon Poole), who is restoring an ancient DeHavilland Tiger Moth in an abandoned warehouse.
