TAFFIN is set in a small Irish town where the title character (played by Pierce Brosnan) is an ex-seminarian, debt collector, and martial arts expert. At the urging of his brother (Patrick Bergan), Taffin gets involved with the struggle to save a nearby athletic field that is threatened by road construction.
