Yoshimitsa (Hiroshi Fujioka) is a samurai warrior in 1552 Japan searching for his wife who has been kidnaped by enemies. Wounded, he falls into an icy crevasse and is frozen. He's found 400 years later by a party of skiers, and the body is shipped to Los Angeles for study. To everyone's surprise--particularly Yoshimitsa's--the samurai awakens.
