The final teaming of Noonan and Marshall before the former went on to do semiporn flilms with Jayne Mansfield and her husband, Mickey Hartigay. Here Noonan plays an inept delivery boy who tries his hand at a variety of creative projects, never meeting with much success. When his
motorcycle is destroyed, he decides to give songwriting a shot, and, under the gaze of con man Marshall, he enters a tune in a contest. The piece he has written is temporarily lost but entered into the contest by a well-meaning priest. To everyone's surprise it wins. High points of the picture are
the appearances of singers Ray Charles and Bobby Vee.
