This uninspiring outing from the "Maisie" series has Sothern, in the title role, getting a job in an aircraft plant. She falls head-over-heels for pilot Craig, but is unable to land him when aspiring actress Rogers gets her claws into him. Even the charm and talent of Sothern can't help
this lifeless production. This was square-jawed Hodiak's second film after switching to the movies from radio, a change made easier by the fact that Hollywood needed men during WW II; Hodiak had been excused from service because of hypertension.
