A bit of fun is poked at the likes of Jean-Luc Godard, Alain Resnais, and other prominent French filmmakers of the early 1960s. A group of young film worshippers go about making short films that are really quite silly--reflecting the type of enthusiasm that members of the New Wave
movement had for film. The movie laughs with these directors instead of at them.
