A fiery backstage romance between Vallee and Dvorak provides an excuse to string together a bunch of musical numbers. The songs are adequate, with Vallee doing most of the singing--a good thing considering his acting ability. Songs include: "Fare Thee Well Annabelle," "The Snake Charmer" (Mort Dixon, Allie Wrubel), "Sweet Music" (Al Dubin, Harry Warren), "Good Green Acres Of Home," "Ev'ry Day," "Don't Go On A Diet," "Winter Overnight," "There's A Different You In Your Heart," and "Seltzer Theme Song" (Irving Kahal, Sammy Fain). leave a comment
