This follow-up to SWEENEY--it's far better than the original--finds Thaw and Waterman on the trail of bank robbers. The thieves support their families on a Mediterranean isle by making periodic visits to London banks for armed withdrawals. The plot is farfetched, but the film, directed with style and humor, is quite engaging.
