In a bizarre twist of fate, the late Christopher Reeve's last role before his crippling riding accident was as wheelchair-bound ex-cop Dempsey Cain in this thriller. Perfectionist Cain married to the beautiful Gail (Kim Cattrall); they have one son, Damon (Blake Foster).
