Suspended Alibi

Holt is having an affair with Chance. When he finally decides to break it off, he goes to a friend to help him establish an alibi for the time spent visiting his mistress, then later discovers the friend has been murdered. He is arrested for the crime, condemned by his own alibi and slated to hang. Keir is a crime reporter who won't give up on the case, and he eventually uncovers the evidence that frees Holt. An okay crime drama that passes the time pleasantly.
