Once again Temple plays an orphan, this time having lost her parents in an Indian attack. She's adopted by rugged Mountie Scott and his sweetheart, Lockwood. The Blackfoot tribe continues to attack and Scott is nearly burned to death by the savages. Shirley solves all the problems in her own unique fashion, and teaches Scott how to tap dance as well.
