On stakeout in Chinatown, Detective Ford (Roddy Piper) crashes a high-level druglord confab at a restaurant, precipitating a bloody shoot-out. In retaliation, the phantom-like Tiger (Andy Yim) takes Ford's partner hostage and executes him. When Ford confronts Tiger after a car chase, a lowly busboy unexpectedly saves Ford's life.
