Surrender

Poorly made, this drama involves Baxter as a POW during WW I. He's a Frenchman being held in a German prison camp. Meanwhile, at a nearby castle, a proud father dreams of the day his four sons will march into Paris for a great German victory. One son is engaged to Hyams, but she is trying to have an affair with Baxter. The drama is poorly written and often confusing, though Bellamy gives a good performance as a prison guard. "Surrender" is what cast and director did with this muddled story.
