Support Your Local Gunfighter

This follow-up film (though not a sequel) to SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHERIFF finds Garner playing a con artist running off from his madame bride-to-be, Windsor. He ends up in the small western town of Purgatory, where the citizens mistake him for a famous gunslinger. Garner decides to let them think what they want and proceeds to take Purgatory for everything he can. Elam once more is his sidekick, and Pleshette is the love interest who wants to start a Ladies Finishing School in New York State.
