Superstition

Shot in 1981 as THE WITCH, this film was so wretched it sat on the shelf for four years before being dumped into the horror market. The insipid story involves the 200-year-old spirit of a witch who was the cause of some supernatural dilemmas in 1784. Her powers linger to the present day, when hapless minister George Leahy (Larry Pennell) and his family move onto the site where the witch burned a church, killing her accuser, two centuries before.
