Sunset In The West: Review

This pretty good Rogers series entry features him as a deputy sheriff. He comes across a gunrunning gang who use the local railroads and some unwilling agents to ply their trade. Rogers stops them, of course, with a terrific climactic gun battle. A good script and good direction make this one of Rogers' best films before he made the switch to TV. Willing's title song, crooned by the star, featured a novelty: lyrics in both English and Spanish. leave a comment
