On The Sunny Side: Review

English boy McDowall is sent by his parents to the US while WW II rages in Europe. An American family living outside Cleveland takes the boy in, and conflicts arise almost immediately between McDowall and Mercer, son of McDowall's American "parents." The two boys compete with each other and learn from each other over the course of the film. The movie is filled with the antics of the two young rivals and other neighborhood kids, making it good fare for the children. leave a comment
