The Sun Comes Up: Review

Time to take out the handkerchiefs again as Jeanette MacDonald plays a war widow whose recent loss of her son has forced her to a retreat in the backwoods of Georgia. When a boy from the local orphanage (Claude Jarman) comes to help her with chores--accompanied by Lassie--the widow's motherly instincts resurface.
