Freddy Shoop (Mark Harmon) is a lazy teacher looking forward to a vacation in Hawaii, but when a fellow teacher (Carl Reiner) wins big bucks in a lottery, Shoop is forced to teach his summer school class. The class is one for slow learners, and naturally, is filled with an assortment of
misfits, malcontents, and clowns. Can he shape them up? Obviously not too many people cared as this tepid comedy did little box office business, marking another failure in Harmon's attempt to move from TV to the big screen.
