The famed Medfield campus is the site for another romp courtesy of Walt Disney and producer Bill Anderson. The film, which pokes fun at the hype put out by cereal companies, has some of the students discovering a formula to give humans super strength. With the college in financial trouble, the dean, Flynn gives the formula to one company. The school and its weightlifting team compete against another school sponsored by the number one cereal company, which has relied on slick advertising to reach its lofty position. Russell mistakenly eats the cereal and gains the super strength needed to bring his school to victory. This was the third in a trilogy that included THE COMPUTER WORE TENNIS SHOES and NOW YOU SEE HIM AND NOW YOU DON'T (1972). It was also the last film by Flynn, who passed away after the picture was completed. leave a comment
