Stronger Than Desire

This poor script about a housewife bored with life is a remake of EVELYN PRENTICE. Bruce's husband is a workaholic so she turns to Bowman for fun. He in turn blackmails her and in a fight she shoots him. But it is his wife who is found with the weapon and she is up for the rap. Bruce gets her husband to defend the woman and in the end both confess to the crime. Pidgeon handles the courtroom scenes well, getting his own wife in the end to confess to the crime.
