Stripped To Kill

A fairly effective low-budget crime thriller set in a striptease club, this movie actually manages to develop some interesting characters amid the exploitative bump and grind. Cody (Lenz) is a tough cop assigned to solve a series of murders of strippers. Convinced by her partner (Evigan) that the only way to crack the case is for her to go undercover and pose as a stripper, Cody auditions for club owner Ray (Fell) at an amateur night contest. Nervous and barely able to dance, she cleverly employs props and sets and acts rather than dances her way through the routine.
