Strictly In The Groove

Weak script is wrapped around 16 songs in less than an hour, too many tunes for that length of time. Story centers on Davies, a college student who flunks out after spending more time with his band than with his studies. This doesn't please his father, Hicks, owner of a successful hotel chain, so Hicks sends Davies away to an Arizona dude ranch. Davies takes his band along, and there meets Healy, the owner of a rivald hotel. While she struggles to keep her place open, she and Davies also fall in love, much to the dismay of Hicks.
