A young Mickey Rooney (he was 16 years old at the time) is adopted from a reform school by a rich couple. His new parents own horse stables, and Rooney becomes a jockey like his real father. But his father was a crooked rider, and Rooney is framed by gamblers using his father's reputation to nail him. Rooney clears himself and wins the English Derby. leave a comment
