The epitome of Hollywood's Irish cliches, SIDE STREET is the tale of three brothers--Tom Moore, a kindly policeman; Matt Moore, a surgeon; and Owen Moore, a bootlegger known to his cronies by the alias Barney Muller, a name he uses to keep his illegal activities secret from his brothers. When Tom gets a promotion, he is assigned to a murder case involving the Muller gang.
