A bleary-eyed melodrama sure to warm the hearts of those who love this sort of film. Allyson stars as the overbearing mother of a soldier who, in an act of cowardice, killed himself while overseas. Mom is dead set on getting him a posthumous medal of honor, however, and is willing to bribe major Chandler to testify in his favor.
