Kennedy isn't given much to work with in this familiar tale of a hard-working decent city cop who discovers that one of his higher-ups is also a top mob figure. He gets pinned with his chief's murder when the mob feels he's getting too wise. Kennedy can't be stopped, however, and he escapes from jail to expose the underworld wrongdoings. Given a better script, Kennedy's fine performance might have meant something. leave a comment
