Straight From The Shoulder: Review

An interesting twist is brought to the gangster film in STRAIGHT FROM THE SHOULDER, in which young Holt is holed up in his dad Bellamy's mountain cabin, with a gang of mobsters awaiting his father's return. Bellamy, a witness to a mob shootout, is a threat to the crooks, who not surprisingly want him dead. The boy overhears their plan to kill his father and, in the middle of the night, takes their guns and fills them with melted lead in order to cause them to backfire. leave a comment
