Consider the Three Stooges. These rough-house comedians (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and alternately Curly Howard, Shemp Howard, Joe Besser, and Curly-Joe De Rita) made close to 200 shorts between 1934 and 1958, as well as appearing in a few feature films and later inspiring a television cartoon series. But the team's 1980s cult following was nothing short of phenomenal. It was inevitable that some filmmaker would try to cash in on the craze, and that's exactly what STOOGEMANIA attempts to do.
