Crotchety publisher Gillingwater nearly causes a divorce when he insists that his son, Cooley, produce a few grandchildren and stop taking a back seat to wife McAvoy's affections for her poodle. The romance goes on the rocks during an escapade in Paris, and it takes an appearance before
the divorce judge for the pair to realize their mutual love. Gillingwater has a smile on his face when he learns that twins are on the way. An enjoyable but unmemorable comedy that is carried by Gillingwater.
