Buka stars as a Viennese cab driver who is trying to get to America but lacks the proper papers and identification. He gets his chance when Lederer kills an American businessman waiting to get into Buka's cab. Buka assumes the dead man's identity and soon finds himself involved with Camden, a friend of the dead man and the wife of Lederer.
