Stolen Holiday: Review

Based on the real-life Alexandre Stavisky affair, STOLEN HOLIDAY stars Francis as a rising model who weds Rains. Although exposed to his swindling, corrupt lifestyle, she is protected by the French authorities. After Rains meets his end, Hunter becomes the object of Francis' affection, carrying on an idyllic romance. The Stavisky name again made it to the screen in 1974's STAVISKY by Alain Resnais. leave a comment
