An interesting drama from Fisher in the days before Hammer was known for its horror entries. Henreid stars as a plastic surgeon who falls in love with concert pianist Scott, but loses her after a week of romance to her manager, Morell. To compensate for her absence Henreid transforms a
prison inmate (MacKenzie) into his lost love (Scott, again), but cannot keep the girl under his thumb. She runs off with her own friends and leads a life of shoplifting. Eventually, pianist Scott returns to him with the promise of a future together.
