Three lively gals--Dresser, Gombell, and Howland--try to pump life into this bloodless comedy by turning a society gathering upside down with their wild antics. None of the ladies is quite the socialite she appears to be, since each has a past in burlesque. Thus, when they begin drinking and reminiscing, all sense of control is lost. Unfortunately, nothing that happens is very funny, due mainly to the fact that it's a one-joke movie stretched out to more than an hour. leave a comment
