Treacher is wonderfully cast as an English butler who is conned into coming to the US under the impression that he is heir to the treasures of Sir Frances Drake. He actually is a stooge for a swindle organized by cons Givot and Dinehart, in which they plan to bilk millionaire crime boss Harrington of his wealth. Unfortunately, not enough attention is paid to Treacher's fine characterization. leave a comment
