A showcase for the talents of singing star Clooney, in her first film role, and Alberghetti, this musical has barely a thread of plot tying it together. Clooney is one of three vaudevillians who helps hide illegal alien Alberghetti from the immigration officers. Their neighbor, Melchior, a former opera singer, is the old family friend to whom Alberghetti turns after jumping ship.
